This time i am inviting you to consider one idea which is the shape of your shadow. Because photography is made with light, there are few options for maximizing light. You can pick whichever light resources you love, from the golden light the sun creates, phone light, if you have a studio light like a strobe it also makes a good designed shadows.

They are simple, clever, and beautiful.

I strongly advise doing so during the brightest part of the day, known as the "golden hours," just before sunset.

Shadows can create an aesthetically pleasing, seemingly body-hugging line like the one below.

The only prop you will need is your phone, set a timer. Don’t forget to check where the sun is.

1, Random Selfie

This is a popular style that is easy to replicate with your phone.

I love this shot because the silhouetted tells body lines are beautifully created compositionally as well. More importantly, the natural light and no editing make this shot more aesthetic.

2, Playing with a pet in the kitchen

Convey "as if" a story like this would catch your friends' eyes perfectly! I love these shots, especially as if talking to her cat, shadows are very crisp and clear. somehow very comfortable to look at.

You can recreate high contrast and warm color grading. And most of all a cat is cute:)

3, Grab some texture

There are many ways you can use shadows. One is to get some texture, like a cushion, or having your pet is also a good idea, it makes a photo unique. I like this shot because it has a lived in feel to it. But it still draws viewers’ attention to the subject of drinking water, i really love it!

I hope you enjoyed reading these ideas and get inspiration from them to shoot from home. Keeping your brain busy with plenty of fun ideas!!
